Listing Factory???

I had been using 'Listing Factory' without any major problems since December. Now all of a sudden the software has ceased to work. Every time I try to upload a listing to the LF server I get the following error message

'Active and Passive FTP Mode Failed Error 2908: Unexpected Null Reply Received'

Does anyone know what this means or how to fix it?

I presume it's something to do with the server rather than a problem with my pc but I need to get it fixed asap.

At the moment I'm dependant on LF to list but if the thing is unreliable and just fails without warning, I'll have to look at other options.

I've contacted LF support but no useful response as yet. Has anyone heard of any problems with LF- I presume they're still operational?

By way of a supplementary question: Andy777 - does your listing software solution have image hosting with it?

Same problem...... Hope im not teaching you to suck eggs here. Removed program, cleared cache and re-downloaded it... Works ok now for me :niceone:

Nope, that doesn't work unfortunately.
Getting v. annoyed at LF support, they're obviously ignoring my support requests.

Seems like Listing Factory/auctionlistingcreator.com have no support set-up.

They just want to get sales and don't seem to give a monkey's about their customers when they need some help getting the software to work properly.

Has anyone received proper support from these people ?

I'm very disappointed with the lack of any support or service - suspect something ain't right about this outfit??

Hi Lionheart,

I'm having the server technician take a look and see if there is any issues on the server side. I did get a few emails from a handfull of users stating that they were unable to upload images to our server, but its working for everyone else so I would guess it has to do with a domain / DNS issue which is being looked at by the tech guys.

If the problem continues, I can reissue you a new license that would be upload to another server so you can continue working in the meantime untill the problem is found and resolved on the server your account may be on. Please PM or email me if its still not working for you and we'll figure out a solution for you quickly.

Hello, i'm an italian girl and i use listing factory since november. I have the same problems (errors 2908 and 2303), and i don't know how to resolve. I wrote many times to the support service, but they never answered my questions!
I have to upload my listings!! :mad:

We have found and corrected the problem with the server configuration that caused some of our users to not be able to upload new images to their accounts on our server.

Everything seems to be running fine with all the users that tested so far, however, please contact me if the problem continues for you.
