No it is just due to bad past experiences, I felt it best to share all information

Did you speak to Paypal?

Would be interesting to hear what they had to say about this.

I have not yet no,
But I emailed the buyer and he said he was happy to wait the 21 days for the funds to clear,

After they clear is there anyway he can then claim back the money?
Thanks

Have to agree with you about this mind.

Okay, Well I will wait for the money to clear I think,
Then send it with a witness from the post office signing for it saying it is no ordinary 20p.
And I will send him a copy and keep myself a copy.

I reckon this is all I can really do,
Anything else you can think of?
Thanks

The Post Office wont do this, even if they did it wouldnt be good as evidence.

Oh okay then thanks,
Perhaps getting someone else to witness and sign?

If not really what can I do!
Thanks

You could go to your solicitor, get them to witness a photo being taken and get them to sign it and write a letter to say this is the actual item. They could even send it on your behalf.

It'll cost you though.

Thanks Discount,
However I don't have a solicitor and this would be expensive!
I may offer him a sort of, he pays half by bank transfer, then I send, then he pays the other half, or something along those lines.

I have been speaking to him for a while and he seems sincere and professional,
So I may just risk it,

And if he scams me,
I'm a believer of what goes around comes around...
