Default I have a question and need to rant a little... ('persisting' non paying buyer)

Last week I came across this eBay buyer who doesn't pay for half the thing she bids. Seriously, she's been doing this for a week now. Does eBay normally never get rid of this kind of "menace" promptly? People really need to be responsible!!

From what I can see from her feedback, she's been a jackass to 5 sellers in five days (including me)!!!

I lodged a dispute against her from last week and eBay did nothing since then.

How long would it usually take for eBay to get rid of this kind of non-paying buyer?

Oh, her account is trinity.rose_123. If you come across this buyer, be ware!

I'm sorry for ranting. I am just a little disappointing by eBay and this buyer.

It is annoying.
Theres always buyers that I have to constantly chase for money and it does test your patience.
I think one way around this issue is to list your items with the immediate payment option which is as eBay states....................

  • A buyer who clicks the Buy It Now button in your listing is directed to pay immediately for the item using PayPal.
  • Until the buyer completes payment, the item remains available to other buyers to purchase for the duration of the listing. The first buyer to complete their PayPal payment officially wins your item.
  • Once a buyer completes payment, the listing ends and you are directed to ship the item.
However this only works with Buy It Now listings.

Oh yes, I am aware of that option. But my situation and same with many other victims is that we sell our things by using the bid option. It's even worse! She bids, she made the call, she wins and she just don't pay! Geeze...

If you've opened the dispute, wait 7 days. If she doesn't reply saying how she will pay you can close it and give her an unpaid item strike, get you're FVF back.

If enough sellers do this, her account will be closed, and she won't be able to open another unless she changes are her details, even then ebay may find out it's her and block her new account.

That's very nice. I already lodged a strike like you said. Hopefully other sellers do the same so we can get rid her once and for all!!
