Hu guys, just wondering if I could get some advice.

I've recently being thinking about buying some wholesale watches on ebay. These are all based in the Far East and I wondered if these are legit? Any advice would be most welcome.

Thanks in advance

If they're brand name watches, then chances are they're not legit. If they're non-brand name, then sure, they probably are legit, but you still need to be careful. Non brand name watches can be sourced very cheaply in China, but the end result can be very poor. For example, a batch of 10 dozen could easily leave you with only a dozen sellable watches.

We gave up selling watches because the quality at prices retailers expected to pay was so unreliable.

As already stated if they are branded then they will prob not be legit. If they are unbranded then you should be fine.

If you pay via paypal and they never arrive or they arrive and they are fake then you can always claim your money back via paypal

The ones i've looked at are Ben 10 etc, and the sellers have sold 1000s of items. How do they get away with selling fakes?

Normally because the people buying don't know how to tell the difference between a fake and a real item, and the ones that do, avoid buying from the seller altogether, or know what they'll be getting will be fake, and are fine with that.

Before I came here I bought some watches the same ones you looked at, the seller had dissapeared off ebay (see my thread on it) they have actually come but the ben10 and bratz ones in particular are not that good the straps look cheap and nasty although they are all working.

FWIW it never even crossed my mind they might be fake but thats a first niave lesson I learned.

I was close to buying myself. Do you reckon the wholesale section on ebay can actually be of benefit?
