Default Paypal - Lifting Limits Problem

I recently set up a new paypal account and went about getting my limits lifted from £1700 because its for business use, but when I went through all the processes a problem ocured and it now says "we were unable to confirm the information provided". Now im not sure if i did something wrong but i can't start the process again so its now stuck with a limit of £1700.

Does anybody know how to get around this problem?
Or if there is a telephone number for paypal which is relevant for this? Ive had a look but can't seem to get a relevant one.

Mike

I had a problem when I attempted to lift my limit - I phoned paypal but not sure where I got the phone number from, is there not one on the main paypal site?

There is but you just talk to a automated bot. Ive found a number that looks promising, and its out of calltime hours now so that suggests there might be life on the other end!! ill ring tomorrow

I spoke to somebody when I called. It was a while ago now but I remember being very frustrated as paypal wouldn't get me passed a certain point - whoever I spoke to sorted it out quite quickly though. Hope you get it sorted

Yeah as nicky says, If you ring them they are usually pretty good.

When i was having problems lifting mine they went through it over the phone while i pumped it into the laptop. Sorted job done.

Not saying they are all that helpful but most should.
