The chinese being allowed to list when they are not in the uk. Ebay UK should be for UK sellers only.

I'll go with customers but only the one's who are unable to grasp the concept of polite manners when emailing.

"i have not recevied this yet"

So effing rude it makes my blood boil, how hard is it to add a simple hello or thank you at the end of a email.

Makes me so tempted to not bother replying to them...as my Grandma used to say to me "manners cost nothing"...

But it's like a slap in the face for one's ego! Good idea with the phoning though.

As for the Chinese thing, surely that should only be if they're listing in competition with you - I quite like the bargains as a buyer!

all of the above, and PAYPAL!! Got a dispute ended in buyers favour yesterday on the grounds the listing description was not accurate (it said the item was spares/repairs, no returns and detailed all faults with it) - buyer goes "it doesnt work" and gets a bloody refund granted - do paypal even bother reading ebay listings??

I love ebay. Can't fault it. Pays me a wage, keeps the missus in shoes, pays for my holidays. I would be lost without it.

Very true, we can complain about it but for a startup - great opportunities lie selling on ebay even if there are a lot of annoying aspects to selling...

Its funny as Im like that with Amazon and many on here seem to have had bad issues with them. I suppose its why sites like ebay still do so well despite being so harsh on some of their sellers - if 80%, or even probably as low as 60% of the people using their service are happy with it, then who gives a ***** about the rest?
