It's called a lifetime seller fee because it takes you a lifetime to sell anything.

£1.20 pofit on a £22 sale is not very good. Are you selling these for a bit of cash on the side or building a business?

I realise that these are popular competitive items but if you have one sale go wrong and you can't recover your money, you'd have to sell 19 more just to get you back to where you were or £418 to make £22.

If you want to sell these you'd be better off to get a free cart and set-up your own site. Use your eBay shop to direct traffic to that site (use the about me page to your advantage etc.) and elimanate the eBay fees to give you a better margin.

As for ebid, we sold on there as a trial for a month and had 8 sales. The trouble was that buyitnow listings are not included in the Google product feed - only auctions are. We're adjusting our bulk upload to Auction format to take advantage of this but it's not a priority.

I guess the only real benefit is the google feeds for listings on ebid but that's free anyway so if you've got the site set up already, try putting a feed on google yourself and also instead maybe experimenting with google ads for key terms such as xbox live

I know the risks of a bad sale taking my profit away from 19 but sold 52 so far now and had no problems. ebid i think i might avoid for now and as for google ads that i cant yet afford as they don't accept paypal!

I had 30,000+ DVDs listed on eBid once, they were they for about 3 months, and I think I sold 5. Did the same on eBay, and I sold at least 5 an hour.

If your aim is to sell 10 a day on eBid, I would change that to 10 in 10 years, as that is more realistic.
