Hi

Is it me or does everyone find it hard to compete with the prices of fake goods on ebay. I cannot seem to sell Ralph Lauren polo small pony for more than £15 on ebay. It seems that every is bidding for the cheapest one which are the fake ones. How does everyone seem to sell their products. Is there any other auction sites.

Thank you

im starting to but isn't there anything ebay does to get rid of these counterfeit goods because the sellers claim they get it from a factory in america when it clearly says their based in china or thailand etc. I want to know if there are any other auction sites recommended for selling designer clothings.

Honestly i think Ebay gen heads are the last persons to be interested in preventing counterfeit stuff, as long as they suck money from you they dont care much, at least you'll be so stubborn and chasing them with emails etc against someone selling fake stuff, but heh, it's only ONE, and there are bloody millions of them

well its not the brands its the clothing itself, like t shirts, a £15 t shirt is more likely to sell then a £40 polo ...

It IS certainly possible to sell ANY product on eBay and make a profit, however the secret to selling anything, is 'how well you present/promote your product'.

It all comes down to how well your description is written, how professional your template looks, your feedback, your pictures etc.

If all the above are covered properly, and you emphasise enough that your products are indeed authentic, then trust me, sell your products at whatever price (within reason of course) and there WILL be buyers who will notice your listing and buy!

There are buyers out there who will use your price (and everything else i have mentioned) as a indicator to judge whether the goods are authentic or not. One of those buyers, is definately me. As i certainly do not go for the cheapest product immediately.
