I purchased some Tocco Lite screen protectors for £1.49 from a mega power seller on November the 4th.

They have still not arrived yet they claim 1st class delivery wthin 48 hours.

Today I emailed them explaining they have not yet arrived.

Their response was that they have to wait the full 15 days as advised by Royal Mail.

Now to me usually that would not be a problem, but if the boot was on the other foot I would bend over backwards to help my customers.

2 weeks wait for a £1.49 item sent first class and to get a response like that is a bit of a joke. The reason I ordered from them, a UK SELLER with immediate despatch was to protect my new phone, my phone is now getting scratched to ******, I could have ordered from my own suppliers and got 20 for this price if I knew I had to wait this long!

I at least expected them to acknowledge and send me some more out.

Question: What would you do as a seller if someone said their item never arrived after 14 days when it was sent first class within 48 hours? Especially a £1.50 item!!!!

Ive found the big sellers & outlets basically dont care, how often do you see a response to the numerous negative feedback they get every month.

Well this has a potential to be a negative feedback. Therefore if it was myself as the seller, for the sake of £1.50, I would just send another one and apologize for the troubles.

Thanks for that, I am not a regular buyer on Ebay and have never really had a problem with the items I have purchased, but my account as a seller is almost 6,000+ I am not your average new boy jerk kind of Ebayer for them. This for me was a one off purchase because I really needed this item asap, hence why I chose them.

Surely for the amount they sell they can at least make an effort to look after the ones that lose out from their own profits THEN charge back from Royal Mail?

Especially as I am not a new Ebay member trying to scam them over £1.50 ffs. What a joke company!

I can understand a response like that to a low/0 Ebay feedback member, but to a fellow seller with massive sales feedback themselves?

Just makes you wonder!!

Think I will leave feedback for the sake of it!!! Automated service maybe? Tuff, take a neg for your **** customer service!!!

What a joke, though I have noticed as a rule you get a better service from the smaller sellers as they care about negs, not saying it's the same for all big sellers aas there are some great ones but I've only really had trouble with the bigger ones. I had something similar a couple of months back for a 99p item, though I did wait as I was in no hurry and a replacement finally did get sent. Though personally for a quid fifty I would have just sent another.
