My Girlfriend had one of her items bid on from a US buyer who stated before the auction that if she won the item she wasn't going to pay that much postage.
The postage was 100% correct with no silly added on profit, most of the costs was in the insurance as she sends out all her items with insurance or a signed for service.

Anyhow she won the auction then refused to pay, my GF left her feedback saying refused to pay etc and the bidder left my GF a negative. Ebay then emailed my GF stating she's not allowed to leave feedback that is deemed negative and had a suspension warning.

She's now waiting for the final value credit to be refunded, can she get the negative feedback left for her removed if the person has refused to pay?

Knowing eBay, even though your completely in the right, they will decide that you are completely in the wrong.

If the buyer stated before the auction ended that she wouldn't pay postage then why didn't you remove their bid?

but that is correct, you are not allowed to leave buyers negative feedback comments any more, you should have just reported them as a non paying bidder (after I believe 4 days from end of listing), and claimed your fees back.

Regarding getting the neg removed I am not sure, but I think if you had used correct procedure and reported them as a non paying bidder they couldn't have left you feedback for it it to begin with, maybe someone else can clarify?

They wont remove the neg, unless it contains swearing.

If you win a NPB then they should remove it.

That's correct, I had an issue with one of them Nigerian accounts trying to get me to send a mobile phone to them even though they hadn't paid anything.

I reported this to ebay through the correct channels and they explained to me that the user wouldn't be able to leave any feedback.

When I've had emails like that I've blocked the bidder straight away.

Thanks for clarification, I explain the rules/regulations to the best of my understanding from what I have read/researched (just in case) as this has not actually happened to me yet, though I know it inevitably will one day.
