Selling novels as eBooks is notallowed I think.

If im right eBay you can't send eBooks digitally anymore, eBay doesnt allow that. But what the hell right? As long if you don't get caught!

You are not allowed to sell ebooks on ebay, in fact anything sent digitally is not allowed.
The people who do have sell ebooks probably dont have the resell rights anyway.
All it takes is a few people to report your listings andd your account will be suspended.
If you look around the web, there are thousands of free ebooks available.
Some legitamate and some not so.

You CAN sell e-books on eBay, you just can't deliver them digitally (via e-mail etc.) but have to put them on a CD or DVD and send via post.

As for novels - if they're written more than 70 years ago, they're in public domain and anyone can use, publish, re-print that material for FREE!

Others, may just be PLR (private label rights) products.

You should listen to Andy.

It is a very competitive niche but if you do plenty of research you should find the information you need. :niceone:

It is against eBay policy to sell digitally delivered goods, they blocked my eBay account for this, even though I said in my description that the item would be sent via Royal Mail 1st Class, some buyer reported me for emailing the guide (probably another seller)

The repair your SKY+ BOX guides and wholesale lists sell well on eBay )with the wholesale lists be careful as a lot of buyers actually believe they are buying the actual item even if it says wholesale list in the title (yes there are idiots like this out there)

It is a very very competitive market and the profit margins are quite low, not to mention when selling ebooks on eBay there are about 30 different policies you can breach. If you have a load of listings on for £1.00 - £1.50 etc someone will end up reporting your item and eBay will ban you for 30 days for feedback manipulation, in serious cases of repeat offending they will block your account indefinitely. So I would exercise caution if I was you.

Overall there not really a good idea.

Regards Adam

The only good thing is there is no intial capital outlay apart from what it costs to buy the ebooks in the first place.
