I have heard many people on about backlinks for there websites.
So was wanting to know if the TWF people think they are any good?
And any info regarding them would be great.

Back-links are the building blocks of a search engine and as such are important when looking at getting your site listed in them, different search engines place different weighting onto them but the common theme is that they are important.

The best analogy to use is to consider each back-link a vote for your site and the more votes you get then the more the search engines see your site as an authority on your particular subject. Obviously it is a little more complicated than that, I have a section on my forum that may interest you..

Can I just add to it...

A link to your site is "worth" more in ranking if there is no link going back from your site...

If you can get sites to link to yours without you having to link back to them then your onto a winner.

Of course, any link is better than none at all so dont go turning them down.

Relevancy is the biggest factor, there is a major debate as to whether or not it is actually a factor however a few test that I have run by self linking have shown better results from a relevant site as opposed to a more 'loosely' related site..

As stated above there is also a school of thought that thinks reciprocal links are a dead thing now (or shortly), this assumes pure SE benefit also think in terms of traffic as this is what makes you money ultimately.

Just taken a look, your main site looks very good but the cart/store interface looks like an entirely different site IMO. Maybe invest some funds and get it tied together by a professional? Remove the tacky counters, they don't mean anything anyway. Why the Meso link at the bottom of the cart?
