osCommerce = Your Shopping Cart is Empty
I'm making a new site for wholesale electronics, but this time integrating with osCommerce, for a more automated process of checkout etc...
I've got everything designed and ready, just got 1 problem:
I try to "buy" something but it keeps saying "your shopping cart is empty"
Has anyone else experienced this?

Logout, delete cookies, login, try again
That usually works.

Well, it looks like a software/server misconfiguration issue. Check CHMODs, also read some how how this software works. sometimes, to use any peace of software you need to understand the 'psychology' of the back end. One setting depends on another.
Anyway, if you PM me link to this cart with test account, I could propably be more helpful.
Kind regards,
grandfso

check to see if you can enhance the checkout by seeing the contributions on the oscommerce website, this way you can replace the corrupt file

looks like the problem is to do with the "register globals" value in the php.ini file on the server. Just contacted my host to fix it...we'll see how it goes....

Have you got your store set up on the root so as then it would look like "www.yoursite.com"
Or is it set up as www.yoursite.com/catalog/index.php ??
What you need to look for and whats probable is that the files for your shopping_cart.php have become corupt. If its on a test site then try uploading the files back to your server. You should have at least 2 of them, make sure you upload the rights to the right folder.
