Ebid To Beat Ebay
hi guys,
a friend of mine told to me to try out ebid. www.ebid.co.uk.
checked it out apparently its second to ebay. anyway the costs are much cheaper than ebay, which is a good thing. but the site looks too cheap, the homepage puts me off as soon as i look at it. i think if they improved their site, it cd turnout to be better than ebay.
what do you guys thinks?

hi i currently sell on ebid although the fees are low theres just not enough buyers.
So im now moving onto ebay where the fees are more than double.
But i know i will sell more on ebay in a day than i would on ebid in week.
Plus most people on ebid only buy things that are less than £10
As for the layout i think its alot better than ebays.

It's certainly getting there but still not really scratching the surface when it comes to competing with eBay..

It is getting there & its perfect for people just starting out & work at home mums.
But as for people wanting a business out of it then ebay plus your own website is the way forward.

It has promise and has been growing for a while now however all the above comments stand true, traffic is the biggest factor in an auctions success and no one competes with Ebay on that count. Also Ebids site is so cluttered that it puts me off using it..

I've tried Ebid too but I just find it too confusing to navigate through the site, it has got a really annoying layout. Whenever I visit it, there are hardly any bids placed too. I think it needs to offer something revolutionary if it is going to make a dent in Ebay.
