Arrow Outlook Express - Mass mail?

Is there any way to reply to all emails in one particular folder in Outlook? Or do I have to reply to each one by one?

Default outlook

I know out Microsoft Outlook you can send emails to a number of people without them seeing each others email address.

instead of filling in the addressed in the "TO" field, fill all the addresses in the "BCC" field. This way you can send the same email to everyone.

It's even easier if you create a distribution list and then in the "BCC" field just choose the dist list you want the mail to go out to.

However please note that if you email an attachment there is a very strong change that the emails will not go through as they will be classed as SPAM.

It may be easier for you to give them a link where they can download from your site.

Hope this helps.

Siraj

PS. Did you get my email?

Siraj,

Got your email. Thanks, I will reply shortly.

I was actually asking if I could send an email to all the people in that folder in one go, without having to copy and paste each individual email address into the Bcc box.

Default Outlook

I dont think there is an easy way.

I had the same problem and I spent around 2 hours copying all the email addresses into a distribution list.

Everytime someone wanted adding i just updated the dist list.....If you get cracking now you should be finished by Monday

However I could be wrong....so wait if anyone else can reply and help.

You just need to create a group, then there's an option "choose the members of this group".
Than you can choose any email addy you want, or a specific folder.
Well that's what my old version do.

Do you mean auto-respondents?

You can set these up in your hosting control panel. They respond a certain message if an email is received to a specific email address..

Might not be what you are looking for but thought I would add it to the convo..

It's not exactly the question but in Outlook You can define rules just like in SQL ,for example.
According to these rules ,for example all mail contain words
"Ebay Item #### sold"
will create an action of sending the mail to the Buyer with the text :

"Congratulations in winning Item ##### ,
please ,pay...
and so on "

+ A lot of other great extended options.
