I'm thinking about selling my website. I have a sea fishing tackle website that has been opened back in aprill 2009.

its had 5657 Unique visitors since i've been open, i know thats not very good for an online shop but i dont have much advertising some items are listed top of Google, i have 2 very good supplers that i use for all the sea fishing tackle you could want.

i dont really know how to go about selling this website so i wanted to know if anyone had done so before that could give me a heads up on how to.

I am just posting to see what your thoughts are about the following. What are the benefits of having your own e-commerce site as well as selling on ebay? Why would buyers make a conscious decision to buy from your e-commerce site, rather than your ebay store?

We are in the process of getting a websit up now, and are in the process of answering some pretty awkward questions such as: Should we brand the ebay store and the e-commerce store the same and link them, or brand them separately and not form a link between the two? I am currently leaning towards not linking the two and branding them differently, but i am wondering what incentives i can offer to make people choose to use my site over ebay? A longer warrenty? A more efficient posta servicel used? etc?
