Default Change of Sellers status

After careful consideration, we have decided to change the sellers status from 'Trusted Seller', to 'Registered Seller'.

The same checks will be made to all people looking to sell, and this is simply a change of name.

This was brought about after people were reading too much into the 'Trusted' part. I am sure you will appreciate it is impossible for the forums to check out a suppliers credibiliy and be 100% correct.

As a result, this change will be made.

If dealing with a 'Registered Supplier' please be sure to make you own checks, as you would with any other supplier.

If you have any questions please post below.

Please also be aware that sellers can be given 'feedback'. We use a similar system to that on ebay. This can also be used as a measure of reliability.

Agree with you there James , you have to earn the status of trusted seller and not buy it

Thanks James for clearing that up.

Its weird on mine it was showing up as Trusted Seller under every seller, so I refreashed the page and hey presto it shows up. Must have been reading the image from the cache.

Thanks anyway guys.

Anyway to become a "Trusted" Seller then?

I liked that title better and I feel my customers will lose confidence in me with the "demotion".

I think your trader rating should do that

I understand your concern

However, this step was taken in an effort to protect the forum also. I did not want to keep it so that the forums were liable should someone get scammed by a "Trusted Seller". I am sure you understand.

As Titchimp says above, your feedback and general rep on the forum should speak for itself.

As a message to other sellers, it is up to you, to help your buyers gain your trust, to build on your feedback.

James
