Default Show Thread Template Changed

Guys you will probably have noticed that things have switched to a more central format. IE: Posts in the middle and Username, Location, Rep ect are at the top of the post rather than the side. (As you can see by reading this thread)

I didn't actually intend for this to happen as I was trying to mod some of the template files, but it seems it has reverted to the default look of the VB software instead of our customised version that was previously installed.

However.. some good news that this may bring is that Avators could be used if I choose to enable them for all of you.

I am working to see whether I can actually salvage the old look (ie a more left hand side thread viewing option) but in the meantime let me know what you think of it and whether you prefer the current one or the old one.

Thanks

I was thinking, because the VB software will need to be updated to the latest version soon anyway, we would have lost the layout we had previous. (unless somebody knows how to do otherwise)

The software the forum is using is V3.0 and the latest one is V3.5

As I said, I'm doing my best to get it back for the moment, but its gunna be a struggle..

I also think that the old look was better. Most people are used to that look, because most other online forums have that look aswell. But thats just my personal opinion.

I'm trying to sort it now, as there are other things that it affects, not just the visual looks.

I Agree. I liked the old format better with the user info on the side.
