As of Friday 13th October 2006 we will be moving to a new system of advertising for-sale threads.
This announcement is aimed at the regular members of the community to brief you on these changes.
Forum Registered Sellers have been emailed separately and should know by now what these changes are.
(Check your email or request another email to be sent out if you haven't had it.)
Now, these changes affect the way Forum Sellers advertise their stock/service to the rest of the community. The main change is that we will now be operating a mandatory specification inventory for each for-sale thread listed. In simple English, this means that sellers will HAVE to include certain specifications within their description. For instance, sellers will HAVE to include the status of stock, whether the stock is physical or it is being brokered. Another key thing that will have to be included is what buyers will be responsible to pay should they deal with the seller - To be specific; Vat, Tax, ect.
I've said this to the sellers separately and will say it here again to you, most of our sellers list their stock/service very efficiently and won't be affected by the changes, however we have decided to bring this in now to shape the future of selling on the forums. A further reason for making things a little more legislated is to preserve the quality of deals available through Forum Sellers and to reduce the number of questions and confusion about some of the deals available.
For more information about what the sellers will
HAVE to include in their for-sale posts from
Friday 13th Oct, please review this thread:

As always, if confusion or questions exist please don't hesitate to
email or
PM me.
I know quite a few of you have been calling for these changes to be implemented for a while so I hope that you all understand why the changes were necessary..
Thank You..
