Default Slower Loading Times?

Hi
After the new server a couple of days ago, everything was running fast, but suddenly only today my loading times to post have got slower it takes almost 20 seconds sometimes to post when it was doing it in 2 before for me. I don't want to worry anyone, just probably my internet connection today or a bad day . Has anyone else's posting times got slower.
Thanks
Matt

I couldn't access the forum at all this morning and now its so slow its unusable, so not just your connection. I assume its just teething problems with the new server

Yeah, I got on about 7 AM my time and when I went to respond to a post I just got that whirling dervish forever. Never did finish. When I clicked back I got a 404 page. Been totally down a couple of hours for me.

It was indeed a networking fault on the route/line to the server. The server was fine it was just the network connection being provided to the server that went up the creek. Whether they were doing maintenance on the line or at a local routing box I'm not sure.

From between approx 12pm - 3.30pm GMT it was affected, either completely offline or like some have described, unusable. It wasn't just us, the local area where the server provider is located was affected to. It seems (touch wood) to be back to normal now, although I suspect they may have just redirected network traffic temporarily until the line is fixed as there seems to be quite a few extra hops to the server than before the problem occurred.

Sorry for the inconvenience, will keep you up to date on any new developments.
