Member on here allowed to advertise but not an advertiser.....

There is a member on here that is allowed to advertise his stock but is not a community advertiser - electronics_spec

Can i presume it is OK to buy from them?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

This is against the forum rules and is a breach of our user agreement. Can you confirm how this member contacted you? (Their advertising membership has expired and they should NOT be attempting to solicit goods/services to you).

Theres quite a few so i thought an administrator would have stopped it striaght away as you usually do ;-) and therefore thought there might be an exception to the rules here??

There is definitely no exception to the rules! Any member found to be breaching the rules in this manner will be instantly removed from the community.

Please could I request that you forward all correspondence that you have received from this member or any other to me directly, either via PM or Email.

This goes for any other member who has received unsolicited offers of products/services from members of this forum. Unless they are "Community Advertisers" and have purple usernames they should not be contacting you in this manner.

Note to All: Help us to keep this community safe from scammers and fraudsters by reporting those members who breach the rules in this manner. Although you may not fall for their solicitation, other members might do and not reporting them and others falling into the trap is on you.
