Default Can't see one section of the website...

Hi There,

Has anyone got any idea why I can view every section of this website, but not the "Advertising and e-commerce" section?

For some reason, whenever I go to load this page, I just get a blank screen....

Anyone else having this problem?

Everything else on the site works fine as far as I am aware.

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Lewis

I've just looked into this, and I have an addon (IE7PRO) which filtered this part of the website as unsecure (not quite sure why).

Either way, when I right clicked and pressed the "Do not filter this selection", It let me on.

Strange....

Either way, its working

Hmm.. strange indeed.

You can always rely on Microsoft to present something unusual.

It may be a thread in there or a website being linked out to that is dodgy. I don't suppose there is any way of you being able to narrow it down to an individual thread or certain page is there?

I'll have a look for you.

I do a fair bit of coding, it might be something that comes up under validation. I'll let you know in a few minutes.

This site is throwing back a lot of errors (277) in just HTML validation. Something I thought you should know, take a look at the following link:

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ht...group=0#result

That wouldn't affect internet explorer blocking it, but it may affect your SEO a bit. As far as I can see, theres nothing stopping it. I suppose it could just be something strange happening now and again. No other complaints so It might just be me...

Regards

Lewis

I doubt you will find a vBulletin powered forum on the Internet that passes HTML validation to be honest.

I'll have a look tomorrow if I get chance but it may well be a freak error.

Thank you for reporting it never the less.

Yeah, I agree. You probably won't find a fully HTML validated VBulletin site. But 277 errors is quite a lot and a lot of your errors are just based around it not having an alt tag specified. You could reduce the amount of errors.

If you manage to figure out why the forum became blocked by IE7PRO on that one page, then please could you PM me and let me know why it was. I'm a website designer and use a lot of ecommerce and bulletin scripts. So It might be quite interesting to know.

Cheers Anthony!
