Should brokered deals be banned from the forum
Quite a simple question?

It's a shame to ban everyone because of a minority, but the minority seem to be causing massive problems, so I'd have to say yes.
The problem is any kid can 'act' as a businessman and broker a deal based on a supplier who is ripping them off. This then knocks the buyer who hasn't done their research correctly.

If only I could vote no....lol
Brokered deals can be risky but if then again it's down to who you trust.

I can see both sides of the arguement here but if I was Anthony, I wouldn't want my forum tarnished by a few sour deals

Find a thread on a brokered deal on this forum that went as it should. Just one.
To the best of my recollection, they've all gone sour.
And it's been the same on other forums.
I'm not saying don't deal with a real broker, someone who does it for a living.
It seems like all you find on forums are good guys, hoping to work a deal with someone else's money. And their good deal turns out to be a scam and they don't have the money to refund to the others.
It turns out badly for everyone.
As I've said recently on another thread, I don't think any of them start out thinking of screwing over the others. It might turn out some see all that money and say "this is two years on ebay" and take off.
But I truly believe most of them are the real suckers, because they went for a "too good to be true" deal with others money. Now no goods and owe everyone else in the deal.

Everyone is bashing the brokered deal. Like i have said before as long as the seller uses a safe payment method then whats the problem? The deals that have gone wrong are where the seller has sent an safe payment method to a fraudulent supplier!

Again, show me just one good deal here on TWF.
They all go bad.
Nothing personal, just the odds are so against it. You can say what you want, but the facts are that most here are done by amateurs who get screwed over or take the money and run.
Prove us wrong. Find some good deals.
