i recieved a neg but it did pretty mcuh nothing to my rep, most of the people giving out bad rep like that prob dont have mcuh power as far as it goes..

I'm pretty sure the reputation system will be discontinued unless there is a better version of it in the newest version of the vbulletin software.

Can you imagine the problems that we would have? We would have abuse flying at all angles! The PM system would just turn into absolute chaos and so too would the forum as we would get posts like

"So <forum username> why the hell did you leave me negative rep for this?"

It would just turn into a complete and utter disaster..

Hence the reason why I am quite inclined to lose the Reputation system completely..

Itīs probably better to drop the Reputation system (even though I am beginning to like my rep. points...).

But as Titchimp pointed out, most neg. reputation without a reason is probably left by Newbies, and itīs not gonna hurt so much. The experienced user will probably not give a neg. rep. without a proper reason.

But aslong as the reputation system is kept alive, there will be people misusing it and people complaining about it. Therefor itīs better to get it over with and disable it for the moment. Just my two cents.


EDIT: Now they are gone, my hard earned Reputation points.....
