Default Delete Old Members

just looking through the members list,

some accounts have been inactive for over a year, would it be easier to delete the members that havent been online for about a year and a half, just to clean it up a bit,

or is there something like that already happening,

TBH its far better to try and encourage them back onto the forum, leaving them on the memberslist allows for the email notification system to be used for this purpose..

Why would we want to get rid of accounts that offer the forum benefit?

Its like taking pages out of a book, you've got to have the complete book to tell the complete tail..

When it comes to running a forum, taking members and threads away only takes value off the overall forum.

If you delete a member then his/her's posts that have been made will be deleted, therefore threads and posts will start to go missing. So there would be holes everywhere..

Not only this but the member numbers would go down, why would we want it to go down when its taken so long to achieve such a number.

Deleting members and threads isn't something that forum masters do guys, unless they need to be removed they stay put for the long term or get archived.
