Description:
The TV Video System Converter (NTSC -> PAL) converts any NTSC (3.58/4,43)into a PAL signal (any PAL B,D,I,G,M,N). Optimal for video game consoles, DVD players, video recorders (must support 60Hz) or any other AV equipments. The unit comes with an AV composite cable as well as a 220V power supply. Customers in the UK, Australia and some other area require a travel plug which is sold optionally.

so would this allow US XBOX 360 to be played on a PAL tv?

Yes it should play both x360s and ps3s. With the regular cables not the component.It's universal.

its for the older tv's right?
does the same as a new television does when can switch from pal to ntsc mode right?

That's right. It is for older TV sets that do not have that ability.
