Well, I'd suggest putting aside some money to entertain these refunds. The best way to handle them is to be prepared for them.

Also, in order to be pro-active and minimize potential frauds, you can always put up clear instructions on how to go about reporting a faulty code. Perhaps you can include things like, kindly e-mail us your gamertag and code so that we can verify your claim.

From my experience, these will deter would be fraudsters. For those whose codes really don't work, just let me know, and I'll offer you a refund once I've checked it from my side.

You lose some, you win some. It's just business.

No probs, Hope you didn't mind me giving a couple of people on here your details a few weeks ago?, Since I stopped selling these thought it would be a waste to not pass on a good supplier.

Still keeping my eye out for new ventures :-)

Nope, not a problem with that. The more the merrier I suppose. And yeah, good luck with your new venture!

May i ask why did you stop selling...
* Saturated market?
* Problem from customers regarding the product?
* Another reason - please share?

I am interested in buying, that is why i ask.

Regards,
Steve

Hi Steve,
I stopped when the 1 month codes dried up (Apparently MS discontinued them), Mainly to do with all the scammers, With the one months I could afford to absorb the loss caused by the scammers and still make a tidy profit. I then tried the 3 months codes but the amount of scammers seemed to double and this did not seem a viable business (profit vr's time)
I think my main problem was that because it was a fully automated service the scammers soon got wind and as you know how paypal favour the buyer, I was getting hit with disputes left right and center. I know the codes were fully working as I litrally tested them all through xbox live.
On one occasion I traced the IP address of one of the buyer who were claiming their paypal account was stolen, the ip address traced to the same town the buyer was from. Of course paypal didn't want to know. I even spent 1 hour on the phone to paypal over a £4.29 dispute - this call cost me over £10.
When I first started selling them and had the website in place, things were turning over nice and smooth, I was spending a coupel of hours on a Sunday putting the codes in, and a few hours a week answering questions from potential buyers, but with all these scammers trying it on, It was eating more and more of my time.

I'm not trying to put anyone off, it is a nice little money spinner, It's just I wanted more time for bigger ventures
Even two months on I am recieving chargebacks for £3.99, Paypal add a fee of £7 onto this so you get scammed twice!

To put it in a nutshell exact same reason why i stopped too, on certain selling platforms there are so many scammers - but these sell so well. Getting back on topic whoever sells these will make alot of money these are literally always in demand.
