Default Question about Legit Distributors - Selling to private Seller?

I've found a few legit distributors for sony items. However they all seem to only sell to registered businesses.

Given the fact i'm not a business is it a waste of time going down this route? I take it no distributors sell to private sellers?

Almost giving up on this whole selling online ideas now

If you want to sell Sony products and buy from their distributors, you need to find out their pricing first to be able to determine whether or not you can resell at a profit.

Thats not really the issue though. I can't sign up for a trade account to check as i don't have anything to prove im a business. So do distributors only sell to registers businesses?

Call Sony - tell them you are setting up an electronics store and would like to carry their products. Then ask for a distributor name in your area. Most of them will not have websites, but some may.

Doing business online is no different than doing business offline. Do you think you can start an offline business without registering your business? I would imagine not. If you want to go into business, do it right. Looking for quick solutions will only get you into more trouble (scams).
