If you are looking for profitable individual products then i would say high value home appliances eg, showers, baths, kitchens, taps etc.... which can be brought quite cheaply from abroard and sold for much more in UK and other countrys.

What you have listed are the average run-of-the-mill products imported daily by the likes of Homebase , B&Q and 100's of industry specific wholesalers. Bought cheap and sold cheap.

You may as will list the whole of the Argos catalogue as 80% of that originates from overseas!

It is the more specialist products or limited products that make more money/profit, not everyday items. Hardly in the same league as the oil industry.

From a realistic point of view the oil and banking industries are out the question....

Online, Porn/Viagra businesses are lucrative. Porn being a relatively straight forward one to get into as long as you follow the regulations etc..

The marketing of the industry also determines the profit of it, expect if the industry is Oil.
