Ebay have introduced a few months back the new message system where all important info is sent to your account and is only viewable in your "My Ebay" section on the actual website.
Therefore if you receive anything outside of that it isn't from ebay..
It might be an idea for amazon to try something like that..
I Just Recieved A Message A Few Minutes Ago From An Ebay Member Offering To Purchase An Item If I Could Send It To Nigeria. (4th Today) Within Seconds I Recieved Another Messag But This Time From Ebay Warning Me Of The Dangers Relating To Such Requests.
They Then Left A Link Which Directed Me Too The "Fraud Information" Provide By Ebay.
I Jus Thought Id Share This Because Its Amazin How Quickly Ebay Acted & Is A Credit To The Site. If Only All Auction Sites Operated The Same Way..
Amazon do not put any shipping information in their 'sold dispatch now' emails for just this reason. The only place to find the despatch information is through your seller account on the view your orders screen.
I had the complete opposite problem, i sold 3 things without knowing, the confirmation emails just got sucked up with the daily rubbish amazon send me telling me about the new must have item i don't want
