Re: Attempt to be scammed on Amazon!
Someone I know just told me the other day they sold their first item on ebay - a bracelet worth over £800. They needed the money so put a BIN of £400.
The minute they said Nigeria, I was like 'when did you send it? get that stopped from leaving the country, go to the police and get a crime ref number' they said it was a week ago and they realised too late.
I felt so awful for them as their husband just died after a long terminal illness but at the same time had always told them to read the stickies in ebay boards about scams. They never.
They are still at it, the same tired scam but still working on poor innocent people.

Re: Attempt to be scammed on Amazon!
I know Rob, good info on this site, saved my skin before even joining.
This was just a poor young woman who gave up her job to care for her hubby, waiting for the Insurance to pay out, looked around the house for what she could sell for some moolah. Should have sent it to a few places screaming out for that stuff.
She is so sad about it, just when she thought things wee becoming bearable she is back to square one. These scammers make my blood boil. I hope the scambaiters get that one.

Re: Attempt to be scammed on Amazon!
I just find it sickening how some people are just out to rip people off, tbh, I couldn't even contemplate ripping someone off for a fiver, let alone hundreds of pounds, obviously they didn't know her circumstances but people like that wouldn't have cared anyway.

If you have an email address, I would love to meet them.... Scamming scammers is a hobby . Speaking of which I must write to my Russian bride. She said yes to the wedding in star wars gear with P-Diddy giving me away.

Re: Attempt to be scammed on Amazon!
I got the exact same thing done to me on ebay, I emailed ebay regarding the issue and they advised it wasn't an email from them.
This was also the same reason about the international delivery and one thing that stood out was they were trying to say they sent me £50.00 delivery, when the delivery was something like £5.
All sorted now though, had my credit for the fees back aswell.

Re: Attempt to be scammed on Amazon!
God will punish the scammers. They make the business very hard to do. I am a saleswoman selling UGG boots in a company. I heard such scamming from my customers who are just very afraid to buy from me. Beacause they were scammed once. I wonder if the scammers feel upset to use the money they steel from the others.

Re: Attempt to be scammed on Amazon!
Are people still falling for the scammers from Nigeria? I would have thought people would be wise to that lot by now.

Loving your work
Have you seen the one with the wood carvings of the Creature Comforts?
I seriously considered sending this scammer onto them.
