I've bought from China once or twice and anything branded and anything to do with mobile phones WILL BE FAKE. They even fake mobile LCD screens.

So you have not tried many then.

Look i know 100% that not every company in China does fake goods. How? Because I have been there we arranged Millions of Dollars of investment for companies producing all sorts of goods from China and believe me everything was checked so I know from experience that its not all fake. Yes I know there are fakes being produced again we did see that first hand but dont tarnish the fastest growing economy in the world with being fakes if you have only had 2 bad experiences.

Sorry that was an example of my poor sense of humor You can safely say I have done business in China quite a few times more than once or twice.

I am fully aware of genuine product manufacturing in China, afterall we have our own products manufactured there!

Genuine ODM is a total different ball game. It's laughable when you think you can source 10 genuine Nokia BT headsets from a factory in Shenzhen.

In fact, in SEG, you can buy Nokia, Samsung, Dell, HP, you name it, intel inside, CE, ROHS logo badges to put on your products, along with boxes, stickers, labels, cases, barcodes etc. And guess what? None of them have ever been to a genuine ODM contacted factory in their life!

Also what else is laughable is that the seller's cousin, uncle, goldfish works in the factory 'and gets them cheap', despite nearly all brand owners having their own people within the factory, especially QC staff!

First of all look at the price... second look at the minimum order quantity... and look at payment options
If the price is too low its not going to be genuine.... large genuine manufacturing companies who make reputable items don't usually offer small order buying.... if its cash or transfer only payment its probably fake... that does not mean you wont get the items, it just means when/if you do they will look genuine but probably be fake but not necessarily made in China... A guy in Bangkok used to have a stall outside the Rolex shop... his pitch was "look in the window and I will get you a copy" he could supply copies from China/Japan/Taiwan/Thailand etc. all stamped and numbered etc. The Japanese copies were always the best

There are fakes & replicas.

You can't sell fakes, it's illegal.

But you can sell replicas - look a likes.

Quality? Depends on goods but generally speaking - CHEAP>

as Andy said, selling fakes is illegal, but you can sell replicas. China is the world-factory, so lots of replicas are made. In my city, Shenzhen, China, you can find every replicas you want. As far as i know, lots of business go to China to buy the replicas and then sell in his country as Genine ones. That's where the profit margin is. The price of the real one is usuall 2 times as the copied one. Usually you do not have to worry about the quality. the replicas is of the same quality as the genuine one. You'd better get a warranty from the supplier.

In fact, you paid what you get for.

If you need the original products, the chinese supplier will satisfy you.
But you appoint cheapest goods, the supplier also can satisfy you.
So,This is why the chinese goods so cheap in the world.
It is common knowledge now that chinese people are very intelligent,
They can make any price bas on the same quality for the world' people.

And all the foreign traders never worry about the security of money.
Chinese people want to do business for longiness.
Only you paid, you can get the goods.
