Worried about buying Chinese
I have just found a chinese company that can do a real good deal on some bluetooth products that im failing to get a decent deal on here.
Obviously im concerned about sending money to a chinese firm ive never had dealings with and have asked for re-assuring.
They say that they are a tradkey's goldkey member (3440 points), any idea what this means?
Will payment via paypal help protect me?

If they accept PayPal, it's a good sign. Pay via PayPal by using your Credit Card, this way if something goes wrong, you can get a charge back.
I wouldn't trust them only based on the fact that they are Tradekey's goldkey member.

If price too good to be true is one sign. Do a search on company see if any comments on net about them (ignore blogs as these are set up by some companies)
If you are going to do a big order ask them for a sample price first so you can check them out just in case. This is probably safest thing to do as you cant tell a fake til you get them and nothing worse than order a few grands worth to find out you wont be able to shift them.

Not always lets not judge every company in China just because of the scammers. Until product is checked you will never know.

As Andy says, if they accept paypal, pay using your credit card - the risk is worth it in that case.

I would guess fake as well, followed by "we are currently having problems accepting paypal, but if you would like to pay via Western Union we can accept payment now" !!!!
