The key is finding a good and reliable drop shipper.

I am starting out and I have had a look at dropshipping (did not even know it excisted untill I happened apon DSF) but I still want to go down the wholesale route. Due to my main job I don't have the time to commit to dropshipping. Once my website is up and running it will only be for informational purposes. I won't be selling from it.

I do wholesale, I have the capital and the space, and I'd much rather know that I'm selling good quality goods that I have personally seen, that I'm packing them in a manner that I trust, and that I'm dispatching them in good time.

I have nothing against drop shippers, I think its great for people who don't have the capital or space, but I have a thing against putting my trust in others when my reputation is on the line. That and I read so many horror stories about drop shippers not sending goods, or being sold out when you go to order.

I know this is not a thing with all drop shippers, but its kind of like the China thing, once bitten twice shy, I will never buy from China again, I know there are honest traders out there, but its not worth the risk.
