Don't think Sony will do that, all major brands in the world knows 60% of their turnover comes from grey market. They knows, but they don't want to stop them, because every countries have differnt views on grey market trading. Like US and AUS are different from UK.

what i dont understand is, why sony UK costs a pot load more than sony Japan..i know..close to home..etc etc but damn..at least $80 more even at wholesale?

yeah, put that god damn 17.5% VAT and shipping in there, you will see........Factories are in China and Japan.

LOL, not sure too, heard it from a supplier. But most likely it is only for some technical jobs like putting the chips in..

I've also heard that there are some fake PSP's flying about. Now, don't quote me on this as it might be nonsense, but has anyone else heard this?
