Default How do you make perfectly sure you're not being scammed?

Anyone care to advise me on how to make perfectly sure I'm not being scammed, short of a fly and buy?

Many brokers are not listed as legitimate business in their state. They require wire transfers because that's the most secure for them. Basically all us buyers have to go on before sending them thousands upon thousands of our money is their word that they are trustworthy, and so are their sources.

Are there any background checks that can be done? Any ways to truly make sure on paper or official documents that this guy is legitamite? Maybe even find warehouse rental forms or something?

If you have friends in his country, you can ask your friends to contact him and visit him.

If you have no friends in his country, you can start with some test samples first.

Haha I was just thinking that.

Um anyway to answer the OP's question, um I guess the answer would be don't deal with brokers and only buy from authorized distributors??? Seems pretty simple if you ask me.

Nothing has changed in last 3 years....

No, in fact I think most of TWF members these days are more educated and wouldn't ask this question in such a primitive way (warehouse rental forms? :-)
