Hi. I'm in the process of importing from the States. Just wanted your opinions on my projected profit margins. I'm buying some Canon waterproof camera cases (6 units for £318), ebay / froogle is generally giving me a price point of £140. But for the sake of being modest lets say £120. That gives me £402 clear profit (after all taxes / customs and shipping).

Would you say this is a good buy? I understand I won't get the best deal right now, but I just want to get my feet wet so to speak, so around Xmas I will be able to make much bigger orders.

No of course not. But what you can do is tell me if you were projecting that much profit would you buy these items.

Profit over 60% carn't be bad.

Depends on how reliable the supplier is and what time frame you're gonna flog them in. Selling 1 a day might be worth it, selling 1 per year is probably not.
