Default Wholesale Slowing Down??

Did anyone see that the Wholesale industry is really slowing donw?? Is this due to the Economy? We get traffic into the site, but nobody is buying. This is strange, because this is suppose to be high season starting soon.

do you mean wholesale buying or selling?
the good season should be starting soon but it seems to fall a little further back every year.... this year will and is affected by the economy.... fewer spare notes means less spending in areas not connected with essentials.
Speaking from this part of the world the wholesale buyer rush / good time is almost over... items purchased now will probably not reach warehouses until late November... July/August are the prime times for shipping from here... [wholesale orders that is.... by the container]

Not sure about slowing down? We have just had a record month but we have also spent a lot on advertising. So it seems in certain sectors the business is still out there.

Same here - busiest month we have had for ages and its not over yet. Not quite record breaking but a pleasant surprise nonetheless.

In my industry, things usually start getting busier every month till xmas now
Sep - Nov is known as the golden quarter

We are in the fashion industry. We sell Shoes, Lingerie, Handbags and Sunglasses.. We are hit big time. Sometime there are very few orders a day. We are not sure what's going on!

When the money dries up, luxuries are the hardest hit. Ask any new car salesman!
