Wholesale Scam Sites
These days there are so many wholesale scammers in China (and not only) who use websites to scam people with no knowledge about wholesale products/items. I luckly haven't been a victim to a wholesale scam because I have not yet tried it before. Once there was this UK website where I had the chance to buy Xbox 360's at wholesale price for around £200 (Elite System with games) when they were around £300+ on the market or something in these lines and the only Payment was Wester Union and to be honest I wanted to invest into this with a friend but like any other business you always need to contact the seller/buyer via a telephone before you complete any transactions (i'm not sure what you guy's and girl's out there think but I think that this is just pure common sense to contact your supplier), and that's what we did but we didn't recieve an answer from them or even a reply therefore we decided to drop them out and not deal with them. But now that I have found TheWholesaleForums I am actually happy to find my way through into the wholesale industry.
Anyway I have said a lot above, but all of this is going to one point which is "scam websites". I was wondering if its possible to do something with them? Like for example get them closed down or something? Maybe get loads of people to sign petitions to get scam sites like these closed down because it really is unfair on the people that do get scammed and there must be a way to get them closed down. Illegal file sharing websites get closed down easily but they don't scam people and websites which do scam people are free to continue over and over again? I think that's not right.

You won't have a hope in closing these sites down, most of them originate from china. You are better focusing your efforts on growing your business.

I don't know anything about being scammed or wholesale in general, but my opinion is that in theory it does sound good, but it wouldn't work, anybody can make a web page, they don't have to use there own name or business details, etc. No i mean they can change their name and business everytime they have a new web address after so many scams. You might be able to catch them down the line but not straight away to save people.

As I have already said, you won't be able to shut them down, you will be spending from now until retirement trying to do so. Learn to pick battles you know you have a chance of winning

What if there was a way to somehow make money out of shutting down scam sites? There's always a way for something as long as you have a good idea and the right idea.
What if someone would succeed with this as a very nice scam site close down business?
Maybe you can't lawfully do something about the site but there are always other ways such as hackers. And I am pretty sure there would be people who would invest into a business like that in order to get these scam sites down. A potential investor could be the government, who would want to invest in order to cut down all the credit and money loss etc... which doesn't help the country overall.

While 5 will be closed down, 10 new ones will be opened. It would be a pointless, never ending story...

It won't be a big problem. I once helped lots of people to judge if one site or company is scammer. It's easy because I asked one of my friends in that city to go and meet the suppliers , to discover their stocks . I'm glad to help you.

This is a very good way,you have to take more investigation before trade with your supplier.
There is also a website showing the scammers' website and email, though every scammers can change their website and email,it still helps.
PS o not ever order xbox, nintendo or ps3 from China.
