Alibaba censors is forums.
After recently receiving terrible quality goods from grandhero.com, I noticed several posts on the Alibaba forums asking about Grand Hero Ltd. So I posted my story advising people to steer clear of Grand Hero. Well, I checked back a few days later and noticed my posts were gone. I just assumed that, being a new user there, I did something wrong. So I posted my experience again, twice, once in each Grand Hero thread. Then I double checked they showed up ok.
Well this morning they are gone again. And guess what, Grand Hero is a HUGE advertiser on Alibaba. So this is another reason not to trust Alibaba. They censor their forums to remove any bad reports about their good suppliers.
Gary
P.S. Just to reiterate, a few weeks ago, I placed an order for 10 1GB Sandisk SD cards Ultra II. They filled the order quickly and professionally, but the product had the following problems:
10% of the cards were dead and didn't work at all.
They did not have the holograph on the label.
They did not have the serial number printed on the back
They would not work in a Pocket PC or in a MP3 player.
They would not format under the Windows OS
They frequently failed during write tests.
They did not acheive the proper Ultra II write speed.
They did not have a proper retail box.
Original genuine Sandisk cards do not have any of the above problems.
To their credit, they offered to replace the defective cards. But what would they replace it with, more cheap unusable junk? No thanks. Steer clear.

Another reason why alibaba.com is unreliable. It's sad that they protect these suppliers of fake merchandise.

I wonder how we could go about getting all of these boards off of the net, well most of them one at a time.

There are a few legit suppliers on Alibaba. However, you'll probably only find 1 legit supplier out of 1000+ "suppliers" on Alibaba .

Recently, I spoke with one of Grand Hero representative named Lily Fu on MSN and they are offering IPOD NANO 2G for $ 100 a unit. Too Cheap! However after further inquiry I was able to extract more info that what they are selling is knock-offs, a high quality copy of the real one.
I think Grand Hero is a great source for fake products. If you want fake products to sell you know where to buy, LOL!!!

Yea, If you want to get a fake iPod Nano, Grand Hero is the place. The below link from the grandhero.com website shows photos of the classic fake iPod, from the incorrect function wheel right down to the classic USB port instead of the Apple bus on the bottom.

Moreover, if you want fake SD cards that don't work correctly, then Grand Hero can supply you with as many as you want.
Gary.

It's too bad Apple doesn't go after these guys. I guess they're too busy controlling their distribution channels to see that there are 1000s of fakes going around.

Those guys are idiots. In the picture garyford posted, they have their Ipod Nano displayed. The nano displayed on the box is completely different then the nano inside the box. They are pretty much saying "hey this is the real nano that is pictured on the box, but inside is our knock off nano. We hope you don't notice!" IDIOTS!!!!!
