Tip for those who are looking for RELIABLE Chinese companies

TIP FOR BUYERS - THOSE LOOKING FOR DROP SHIPPERS - RELIABLE SUPPLIERS

We only have small business and the times we went to China to buy big are in the past. Lately I have spent quite a bit of time on product sourcing however and for some reason it was always Alibaba where I ended up. I also learned that many sellers are far from reliable regardless of their (bought) 'status'.

One contact we often dealt with in the past was the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. They do not sell 'Gold status' medals to the highest bidder and as far as I know they are only there to promote Chinese/Hong Kong businesses. They don't roll out the red carpet for crooks as that would be bad for business.

I just did a search on their website and hey presto, the first company that came up actually mentions a company bank account and yes, if you like you can pay with paypal.

Things may have changed a little but staff at the HKTDC used to be extremely efficient and very helpful. (at least in Amsterdam - I am Dutch) Their base is the oposite of Alibaba so that can't be bad. Have a look at http://www.hktdc.com/

I just visited supplier number 2. They also accept paypal, company bank name, no hotmail addresses etc

The HKTDC by the way also tells you about the companies history. Some for example exhibit year after year at the major fares in the world (which costs a fortune but gives them an opportunity to meet face to face with thousands of buyers) and all data collected by the HKTDC gives you a fairly good impression whether you're dealing with a bogus company or not.

Welcome to the forum.
Nobody will simply give you the names and details of their suppliers. They've done the hard work and aren't just going to give that up.
You need to do your research, luckily, you've found the right place.

I would actually say that you are in the wrong in this case. Many people can find branded geuine mobiles from China if you are willing to put the hard yards of research and sourcing.

So you can source products from china that are geunine it's just a very lucrative market so it's very easy for someone to fall for the cheapest product with the highest profit margin.

Do the research and you may suceed try try try again.

Branded item may available in china , but only for part of goods , and need more research on these supplier ! otherwise you may be scammed !

Frankly,made in china items is very cheap,to some way,the quality is often according to the price,if you pay very lower price,donot imagine to get a genuine and very higher price items.

Now most of China supplier remark their goods genuine or not original,that will be more better for your to choose and avoid scammers.
