I am a self confessed work-aholic so 24/7 for me...I love trading it has always given me a buzz...I have lost huge and made loads of money...But the whole thing gives me a buzz....I ran a commodities trading company as self employed and then a LTD company for years but lost a hell of a lot and folded the company recently...Now I have a new buzz, buying and trading all sorts of physical stocks...I am starting from scratch again which is where all the fun is...Love it...Good luck to all you traders...

7/7

Working overday.

Make my game ready for shipment in the evening, opening packages that have arrives, answer mails. My listings I make during the weekend.

It's now the second week of my 4 week holiday. Still making a lot of new listings for my Ebayshop. I'm hoping to go pro in a few months time.

Started off 10 hours a day but now like 15 hours or so. However making sure I have some downtime at weekends now as nothing much can be done product wise unless early Saturday deliveries need to be sent out.

Hopefully though in the coming weeks the hours will reduce as looking to get some helping hands.

Same here :niceone:

I'm ok to work heavy hours during the week, if I can take the weekends off. Actually, during the week I'm not doing anything apart from working

In my previous business as a Plastering contractor, I left the house at six most mornings and was home most nights around nine. I used to get my fiancee to drop my son out to work to me on a Saturday afternoon so he could spend sometime with me, missed his whole baby years.
My only mates were my employees (and they probably hated my guts!), I took a Sunday of when I was so wrecked all I could do was lie about. Two years ago I got royally screwed by a developer and lost every penny I'd ever made and more in construction.
Startin again now, work a few days a week as cashier in a Bureau de change (where I got the time to start my own ebay shop and build my own website), a few days plastering here and there.
Looking back I've finally realised that getting the balance between work and family/leisure is one of the most important things in business and its the main thing I'll be taking into my next venture.

I have three threads to my business so everyday is an exciting challenge of splitting my time up between each. If one area is slow I can ramp up another area. In terms of time, its a case of always being open to business.

I start about 8am-9am once i've sorted the kids out, work in the office until 3pm-4pm come home work on & off all evening until about midnight.

Oldest child is in school, but youngest is 7 months old, so he comes to work with me. It's one of the bonuses of running your own business, and employing your mum to childmind/help out in the office - i won't be missing out on any first steps, or first words like i did with my oldest!!
