People that say a few hours a day work - have been doing it for a long time and have a lot of systems set up working for them.

I'm always on to be honest, I don't spend that long in the office / warehouse but my blackberry is always on and I'm responding to customers till late in the night, looking at products on the laptop, adjusting prices etc.

Yes, somettimes it maybe mroe than 6 hours.

At the moment - too many (70 or so per week), but that's because I'm working on new projects and want to get them up and running asap.

But yes, it is possible to run a "full time" (well, it won't be actually "full time") online business spending just couple hours a day on it. Almost every business process can be automated and outsourced! Sure, when you're just building your online empire, you'll spend long hours to get everything right as you won't have money or experience to outsource/automate everything.

It sure is. I used to (and sometimes still do to be honest) spend around 15 hours a day working on my business. But I've gradually began to cut down and just work 9-5 if I can, Monday to Friday.
