This thread serves as a warning for any idiots who reside in america who are attempting to broker `too good to be true deals` or are just plain lo-life scammers in general.

Penalties are increasing and taskforces for these crimes are growing in numbers.....in VARIOUS field divisions all over the U.S.
Its only going to be a matter of time...... (because of the numbers of ipod/xbox complaints-people being ripped off).................before failed brokers will be held FULLY liable and WILL be sent to jail!...........i cannot wait to see the day(im sure other poor souls cant wait either

And for peoples reference.........visit http://www.usdoj.gov to find out some lovely attractive tax-free jailtime packages
Remember...............in the U.S you will usually receieve 80 percent of the MAXIMUM sentence and if convicted federally......there is no such thing as parole.

Example:

The maximum penalty for mail and wire fraud is 20 years in prison, and the maximum sentence for bank fraud is 30 years in prison.

People may pass this thread off as nonsense but im sure its prolly gonna make future brokers think twice before taking that `BIG STEP` to richness

remember.....BRV and top notch also took that big step and now they look where they are.......all they have now are lawyers kicking them up the *ss.

PS: Any other scammers busted that you know?............post them for all other members to enjoy!

Hmmm...I think I get your point here. I agree that scammers are bad - obvious, right? I am also not a fan of brokers - I typically only deal with physical stock myself, but many brokers are legit out there.

BUT...Is there no legal penalties for bogus brokers and scammers outside America????

I don't understand the point of being a scammer. Don't these people just realise they will; in the end, always get caught? Sure they'll live the high life, but for how long, and they'll be living it with the guilty concience of scamming all those people. Once they get caught, they will regret it...VERY MUCH.

If they just realised that if they went about doing things legitimately, they could live the high life with just a little more work, and not have all the stress of being a scammer!

Sure all the big companies have done something wrong in their way up to success, but it was only because all their competing companies were doing exactly the same!

To all the scammers out there....WHY do you have to make other people's lives a misery to make your's comfortable. Selfish people.

of course thier are legal penalties in other countries........infact the U.S co-operates with a lot of countries for mail and wire fraud....... and in a lot of cases will try and have the scammer extradited to the U.S to face trial under US law......... in terms of sentencing guidelines............the United States has one of the harshest legal systems in the world...............a scammer operating in the U.S would have to be stupid.
I just notice mix-it-forme is under investigation.............what happens to these guys will be a good example of whats to come for failed brokers in america.(BRV also another one to keep track of)

As i said......i cannot wait for the day when a FAILED BROKER>>>( a fool who wires money to a new supplier coz he felt like changing suppliers for a better profit margin)<<<<<<gets his *ss thrown in jail for accidentally throwing away peoples hard earned money to make himself rich.

Peace

I would definitely prefer to work harder and to live a high life, rather than scamming people and living a stressful high life during a short period of time!!

You don't think being a scammer isn't hard work? (just joking)

As much as I hate to admit it, those scammers are pretty smart. They got the right formula to draw in victims. If they aren't smart, then I don't think anybody would fall for it. Now if only they use that power for good instead of evil. Guess that's just how god created us. We can't change it anymore than we can change the way the world spin.
