Quite worrying.
(This was printed in the Independent a few months back)
You shouldn't really believe everything the press says. Its exaggerated at times.

True, plus different economists have contrasting opinions.
I dont think anyone could really pinpoint exactly how quickly each country will recover.
Its all just a part of the business cycle.

There are clear signs of improvement at the moment, rising mortgage applications, house prices and house sales both increasing. Stock prices also seem to be becoming a bit more stable as of late, things aren't looking as bad as a lot of the press do make out.

Take care,
Ben

It would be better to quote his post, so your post doesn't look random

The big thing for me will be when/if the Sterling gets stronger again. I doubt we'll get $2 to £1 for a long time but $1.75 to £1 would be nice

the economy wont be sorted for along time yet maybe 3-4 years even more for 100% recovery, all i know is during this economic down turn the UK will be borrowing up to half of the Countries GDP which is around 2.13 trillion so thats about 1..7 trillion. If the prime business banks over in America werent hooked on selling as much as they can e.g. selling mortgages to anyone, even people who cant afford them then maybe the economy would'nt be as bad, if bad at all!

so whats going to happen next time?

banks have to much power (suprisingly) go back 2 or 3 years ago and no one cared about sub prime this and banks and stuff...

Everyone lets sue all the banks for ****ing up the economies of the world
