lol, then the stimulus package would cost even more due to all the money the banks lost due to the suing.

For every action theres a reaction

Sounds good. Did you know old man McCain was in favour of less regulation. The lack of regulation got them/us into this mess in the first place. What a muppet.

What I don't understand is how our sterling has got so weak against the pound, there the ones that ruined the economy in the first place. Is our recession potentially worse than theirs ?.

I just it doesn't last too long. Better pound to dollar ratios = better profits

The good thing out of this is the possibility of getting a house alot cheaper. Sure I might have to come up with a large deposit but the saving are bloody good right now and prices may drop even further. Its truly a buyers market if you got the dosh.

I would imagine the same thing, however i would expect the government to pick up on it earlier next time (if it happens) there where many economists who saw this happening a year or two ago and no one took any notice of it (if they did they did'nt publicise it). In my opinion the government should have nationalised the banks straight away and took control of the internal influences. You see bankers in other countries such as China publicly apologising to the nation for what has happened, where as in the UK no remittance is seem to be shown (no sorry i was wrong for example) and walking away with some people giving themselves a 60million pension.

It's budget day tomorrow, going to be an interesting day and were also heading towards "deflation".
