Here in Beijing, you would not have thought there was any downturn in the economy. Everyone here thought there would be a slowdown after the Olympics and with the global recession one would have thought you would notice it. But I have to say Beijing is in full swing with building's going up everywhere. I guess the impact of loss of trade is affecting the manufacturing area's like Guangzhou and Zhejang.

While not the highest day in order value, I have had more individual orders today than I have had before, from all around the globe and for good amounts, mostly phones and DS Lite Consoles, average over $100 each.

I would that shows a pickup of activity. Orders for 20+ units are nice, but having a large number of $100+ single item orders for dropshipping would indicate individuals are buying more.

I am amazed at the amount of business I am doing. 9 months ago I would never have dreamed it would be so good!

Every day or so I will get another seller who starts placing multiple orders per day, some for 2GB mp3s and others for high end phones. No real pattern, seems like everyone has a bit of a niche and few will sell the entire product line. But overall things have never been better. It takes a good part of my day forwarding orders to the distribution center and then sending out tracking info for the previous day's orders.

Gotta luv it!

I haven't added a new product for a couple of weeks and sales just keep coming in.

Word of mouth is killer

Construction appears to be picking up it's pace again. My family primarily deals with construction and it seems these few weeks they've been a lot more active than previous weeks. Good to hear. Hopefully every other industry begins to pick up on business. Everyone is happy when the economy is in good state, I definitely don't enjoy watching the news report how many people have lost their jobs.

We are very busy, there doesnt appear to be an economic slow down in the mobile phone industry thats for sure

The economy is much better now in China. I feel the business is growing fast these days..

Same here, it seems to be a real unique situation along the border between the North and The Republic of Ireland.
The retail sector here is really booming, in fact there's a whole new retail centre being built at the minute in the town I live in now. This retail buzz has soaked a lot of job losses from construction in the town.
Its a shame to see the towns along the border in the South struggling because of this, that's the way in this part of the world though.
