This item was advertised as unlocked as I remember. Therefore Cingular's package is not all that relevant.

The only thing written was 'Motorola L7 SLVR GSM Cellular Phone'.

Well if that was the case it seems like he went the extra mile by sending a battery charger with it. If that was all he said, that was all to be expected. You said it yourself that you made an assumption and that was where everything fell apart. Like someone else said, you can't compare the package you buy of a forum to a package from cingular. Two totally different channels. And as far as the memory card needing to come with the phone to help with the functionality. I have a PPC 6700 from Sprint. This phone can play movies, mp3, you can use excel, microsoft word, etc, etc....In order to use a lot of the extras a memory card is needed. Not only does this $500 phone not come with a memory card, they put a piece of plastic shaped like the memory card in the memory card slot. I guess it's there to keep the memory card slot company until I go and purchase the accessory. I'm sure you know this now but you have to ask questions. My first question would have been "What comes with this phone?" Kudos to vector2ny and the other gentlemen who came forward and are chalking this up to experience. The way you handled this was wrong on so many levels. We are not a pack of rebel gang members so i'm sure your family would be safe. If you really did not think you did anything wrong, you would not have created another profile/username. If I were a seller and I knew who you were, I would not be interested in doing business with you after this stunt. I really believe that you know you were wrong for not accepting that package.
