Ok kind of following on from the thread about how many hours you work a day, out of these hours do you work mainly in the daytime or in the evening / night?

And, when is your productivity level at it's best?

I'll kick off .. I tend to start between 8.30am and 9.00am (depending how late I was up the night before this can sometimes be 10.00am). I'm sure like others I have to work as close to the core hours as possible due to stock deliveries, posting customer's orders out and most importantly customer-service.

My productivity level is absolutely awful in the mornings, gets slightly better in the afternoon but I'm
definitely more of a night time person. If I'm still working past 10pm I find my brain just goes on overdrive and I can't stop until early hours of the morning.

Due to a wife and children being at home with me during the day, my most productive time is 7pm onwards without doubt. Aaaahhhh the peace and quiet

I love mornings, especially before the world wakes up.
Saturday mornings at 5/6am are so quiet and peaceful. I like just being alive at these times.
For work, I prefer to get as much done early in the morning, as I know during the afternoon, when people start coming home from school and work, I get distracted.
Then late evening to midnight.

Yeah it's so bad you just can't sleep, going to bed is the last thing on your mind. There's been times I've got into bed with intention of an early night got up an hour later and done some work on the business until 3, 4am - crazy but i wouldn't change it

I always find that if I go past 4AM, I'm really slow for the rest of the day.

A few years ago i would say a night person, but the last few years ive become a morning person. Love getting up when noone else is awake, its so peaceful and i can get my stuff done that i need too. I sometimes have an afternoon slow down but pick up again in the evening if im home
