I have used exporters.sg to find a few of my suppliers. There are plenty of legitimate suppliers who advertise on that site and the others you have listed; the key is to definitely do a lot of research before you go ahead and place an order.

If you find a supplier and they only have unsafe payment methods, cannot provide POS, have poor communication skills or none at all, etc, then it's obvious you shouldn't deal with them.

If you find a supplier who can offer safe payment methods, is easy to contact and communicate with, can provide POS, etc, then I would say it's ok to go ahead and consider purchasing from them. However, you must ALWAYS take caution, even when they seem 100% legitimate.

All the scamming seems to be concentrated on psp's, ipods and mobile phones. For those

who plan to deal or sell these products, I recommend you do through research on the

supplier before you send them any money. You also don't want to be placing too big orders

although they always tell you bigger orders means better pricing. There is no quick way to

earn money. In China, alot of "suppliers" take western union as method of payment. You

have to deal with much caution as if you loose money, western union will never help you.

I recommend paying by credit card (for small orders) or letter of credit (for big orders).

Bank T/T is also dangerous but if you have to choose between the lesser of 2 evils, ie

between western union or t/t, then use T/T.

Sorry for the late reply, but for some reason I couldn't access this site for a couple days; and am only able to access the site at night, prolly because of the high traffic...
Anyways, I'm looking for electronics, software, computer hardware, dvds, games, etc., preferebly dropshippers. If dropshipping is not available, I look to buy small quantities.
I have a couple of sources in that area, but I need more!
Trying to find that one trading website that has good legitamate suppliers, that makes sellers go through a thorough process, I know some trade websites have that, but really, how thorough is their process :P

As for Alibaba, I find that there are some good suppliers, but there all the same- from China, claiming to be a manufacturer, payment terms westeren Union or T/T etc... :P
And when you post a buying lead that your looking for real Apple ipods, you get a bunch of e-mails from companies advertising the fake ones, saying its very similar; even though I specify in detail I want the real ones :P

I've actually been SCAMMED from one of the companies listed on Alibaba. Bdi Technologies
I ordered some PSPs for around a grand; I didn't do much research, since they accepted PayPal, I paid, never responded to my e-mails, and I just filed a claim a couple days ago. It said if the seller doesn't respond the claim will go in my favor, but does that mean you get all your money back?...Wish me luck!

beeker...
exporters.sg seems alright, but haven't found anyone that accepts Escrow, or even PayPal, and the moqs are soo high, 1000 & up:P, I unno, but to me that site seems to be for businesses that only do big transactions

malcolmk133...
this site is cool
